The DD Audio ATC-250 is a terminal amplifier designed to replace the terminal of DD Audio LE ready-made cabinets, making them an active version.
Easy to install: Remove the terminal of the LE ready-made cabinet and cut or remove the cable from the original terminal. Then attach the cables in the cabinet to the ATC-250 speaker cables (we recommend tinning the cables together and using heat shrink tubing to protect the cables), after which you can screw the amplifier into the terminal opening of the cabinet.
The DD Audio ATC-250 amplifier has two crossover filter selections: SUB ( SUBWOOFER ) and FR ( FULL RANGE ). When using the SUB selection, the frequencies available are 30-80 Hz and when using the FR selection, 80 Hz – 25 KHz.
The amplifier has a separate wake-up switch: with the REM selection, a traditional wake-up cable is used, and with the RCA selection, the device wakes up when a signal is applied to the RCA connectors, with the DC selection, the device wakes up when a speaker-level signal is applied to the RCA connectors (adapter must be purchased separately).
A wired bass level control is included in the package.
(The amplifier can also be used in non-LE enclosures)
