DD Audio’s 9500 series drivers are the kind of drivers that other manufacturers try to copy. But they fail. You can feed these drivers 1000-2000 watts of continuous power and up to 8000 watts of instantaneous power. Multiple under-hangs, Free Flow cooling, eight-layer voice coils, EROM and V-Rom suspensions, and a 28 mm vent in the center pole ensure that the driver lasts and works and can handle even higher powers without mumbling.
