Description
The XPLM8 is an 8-inch driver, and it’s the larger counterpart to our XPLM6. It features a lightweight, high-quality, non-pressed paper cone, a 38mm high-temperature, air-cooled voice coil, and a bullet-contoured phase plug. These components are connected to an oversized magnetic motor system with a copper shorting cap.
This driver can be used actively in a multi-driver sound quality (SQL) setup. Alternatively, when combined with our XPLT28W waveguide tweeter and the passive XUSX6/8 crossover, it delivers high-fidelity sound with authority, even at extreme volume levels, all while remaining affordable.
